On the morning of September 28, FOROP held a grand launch ceremony at its Zhaoqing base for the Group's 20th globally advanced film production line—also the fourth line at the Zhaoqing base.Attending the ceremony were Zhu Huawei, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Zhaoqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, along with other leaders and relevant department heads; Wei Fuchang, President of Zhaoqing Branch of China Guangfa Bank; Chen Chuanghong, President of the Sci-Tech Innovation Sub-branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Zhaoqing High-tech Zone; representatives from Brückner Group GmbH, Germany, key customers and partners; Mao Jianquan, Co-President of FOROP, and other Group executives and department heads. More than 60 cadres and employees from the Zhaoqing base joined the celebration.
Delivering the address on behalf of Board Chairman Mr. Shi Zhangfeng, Co-President Mao Jianquan first expressed his remarks.He reviewed the development journey of FOROP's Zhaoqing base since its construction began in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone in 2020, expressing sincere gratitude to the Zhaoqing Municipal Committee, Municipal Government, the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the High-tech Zone, and relevant departments for fostering a high-quality business environment, as well as to the company’s long-trusted customers, partners, and every FOROP employee for their dedication. He stated that the launch of the fourth production line marks the official formation of a “four-line coordinated operation” model at the Zhaoqing base, which will significantly enhance FOROP's overall competitiveness and inject stronger momentum into the improvement and upgrade of the local industrial chain.
Subsequently, entrusted by Jiang Zequan, Party Committee Secretary and Director of the Administrative Committee of the Zhaoqing High-Tech Zone, Zhu Huawei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, delivered a congratulatory speech on the launch of the fourth production line at FOROP’s Zhaoqing base. He noted that, as a leading enterprise in the film industry, FOROP has injected new momentum into the high-tech zone’s efforts to build a high-level, distinctive industrial cluster, thanks to its outstanding technological strength, efficient development pace, and first-class service. The high-tech zone will continue to optimize the business environment and provide full support to high-quality companies like FOROP so they can establish a strong foothold in Zhaoqing, grow stronger and larger, and together write a new chapter in high-quality development.
After the ceremony, the attending guests toured the newly commissioned smart workshop, getting a close-up look at this 8.7-metre film production line supplied by German Brückner.The equipment is renowned for its world-leading single-line capacity, automation level, and energy-saving and environmental performance, demonstrating FOROP's solid strength in intelligent manufacturing and technological innovation.
This start-up represents another significant milestone for FOROP, following the launch of its 19th production line last month.With this, the Group's total number of production lines has increased to 20, further cementing its position as the world's largest producer of polyolefin film.Going forward, FOROP aims not only to "expand" its scale but also to "strengthen" its core competitiveness through innovation-driven development and green manufacturing. It seeks to win market respect with exceptional quality and achieve long-term development through corporate responsibility, making greater contributions to the prosperity and development of the global film industry.
